DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

This course is an 8 hour defensive driving class specified for point reduction, license reinstatement, under 21, or by DMV Request.

Designed for State of Nebraska Driver Traffic Violator Program

Unit 1&2: Signs, Signals and Roadway Markings.

Unit 3: Speed Adjustment, Planning Ahead, Lane Usage, Vehicular Positioning, Turning and Parking.

Unit 4: Rules of the Road and Safe Driving Strategies-Driving Emergencies and Adverse Road Conditions.

Unit 5: Distractions in the Car-Distractions outside the Car and Distractions within mind of Driver.

Unit 6: Restraint Systems- Cornhusker Driving Schools Roll-Over-Insurance.

Unit 7: Attitude of Driver and Driving Habits.

Unit 8: Alcohol, Marijuana and other Drugs.

Unit 9: Personal Security while operating a Motor Vehicle.

Comprehensive Test Covering Units Presented In Class

This class will satisfy the requirements set by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles, Financial Responsibility Section.
