A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Patrick Venditte Ed.D graduated from Cathedral High School and Peru State Teachers College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He received his Masters and Specialist Degree in Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He continued his studies at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln where he earned an addition Specialist Degree in Gerontological Studies, and a Doctorate in Education.

Dr. Venditte began teaching Driver Education in 1966 in Wahoo, Nebraska public schools. In 1967, he began teaching at Westside High School in Omaha. He was then the director of the Adult Education Driver Education program, He was also a high school driver education instructor. Dr. Venditte has taught classroom, simulator, driving range and behind the wheel driving. Since 1966, he has instructed more than 6,000 students in driver safety training. He continues to teach Driver Education at Creighton Prep, Marian High School, Central Christian, Boys Town, and his own private classes through the business.

Dr. Venditte saw a need to extend his teaching skills in driver education to the general public. In 1974, he opened Cornhusker Driving School. The commercial driver training school offers a complete course in driver safety training to drivers of all ages. The school is approved by the State of Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.
